Opportunities floated on RABT

RABT Logo Rationale

RABT Logo showcases the intricate but irrefutable balance & harmony between three key bodies – the Government of Oman, Oman’s Industrial community, and the support arm – the Industrial Innovation Academy (IIA). The three work together to enhance the other, and serve the higher goal of synergy, representing the link between Industrial products with Raw Material Suppliers through governmental tenders to develop the Industrial Sector thereby raising Oman’s rank across all global indices.

The RABT Logo, built on the concept of the Triple Helix seen in the three-strand DNAs, deftly portrays the above three elements working together.

The RABT Operational Functions

RABT consists of 4 key components, which work together in unison to meet the Strategic & Operational objectives of RABT.

RABT offers two certificates

 a. RABT Certificate for Oman Industrial Organisations

Manufacturing companies who deliver Oman-made Goods / Services, based in Oman’s Industrial Estates / Industrial Zones, termed as Industrial Organisations, can register on RABT and obtain the RABT Certificate for Industrial Organisations, after an online Validation Process.

RABT Certified Industrial Organisations form the main source of Suppliers of Oman-made Goods / Services to Oman’s various Buyer  Communities.

The RABT Certificate for Industrial Organisations is useful when it comes to supplying Oman-made Goods / Services to opportunities arising from Tenders awarded through various Oman based Bodies.

b. RABT Certificate for Suppliers to Industrial Organisations

Suppliers of Raw Materials, either from Oman or worldwide can register on RABT and obtain the RABT Certificate for Suppliers, in order to be the preferred Supplier to the Certified Industrial Organisations.

RABT Certification is a pre-requirement to obtain the RABT ICV Compliance Scoring, which is the basis on which opportunities are awarded to                              Industrial Organisations or Suppliers to Industrial Organisations.

RABT Certified Industrial Organisations and Suppliers are subject to a ICV Compliance Scoring, which is automatically calculated on RABT. The RABT ICV Compliance Score, plays a vital role when Buyers / Contractors choose their pre-qualified Suppliers for contract awards and other benefits.

As part of its ICV enhancement objectives within the Industrial Sector, RABT shall monitor and encourage Industrial Organisations in Oman to adapt intensely to sourcing of Raw Materials within Oman’s National Suppliers.

A continuous mapping of capabilities & capacities of all RABT Certified Industrial Organisations is conducted on RABT. This capture enables identification of gaps in capacities & capabilities across Oman’s Industrial Ecosystem, supporting the Industrial Organisations to mitigate the gaps, leading to quality & growth strategies.

RABT aims to attract Investors to Oman’s Industrial Sector, both domestic & global, and provide them with investments facilitation mechanism leading to success stories.
